The TC Electronic line of instrument tuners is my all time favorite, of many alternatives. There is a lot of love for the independently sold TURBO TUNER, and the Peterson line of tuners; these favor the "STROBE tuning visual cues. The TC tuners offer this visual method of tuning as an option, at the throw of the switch. But I favor the unique POLYTUNE setting dialogue instead. Too cumbersome & confusing to use & a recipe for sore thumbs!
I would buy the basic one in a heartbeat but this thing is far too difficult to use & falls short of what it purports to be. Definitely not worth the money! I’m using my alternates mostly Snarks which I have about a 1/2 dozen of cause they break if you look at them too hard & even had some mar guitar finishes. you can buy 5 of the cheap tuners, serving the basic needs & throw them away as they break instead of buying a polytonal one that may be made better but for all practical purpose only does what a cheap one will do!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
