Note, that 36 inches is the length from cut edge to cut edge and the width of the fabric is from selvage edge to selvage edge. This fabric measures 36x44 as advertised. It's a very small piece of fabric, enough for 1 pillow case for a standard sized pillow, or a square scarf with a strip left to make a headband, or a mini skirt for a size zero. It's very beautiful and the color is exactly as described. It arrived in 3 days.
