Cold steel boot knife..hard to beat price and quality.
52100 is a good tough,easy to sharpen steel..can get it what i call sticky-sharp..it wants to bite into things! only thing bad about it is it will rust readily,hence the coating cold steel puts on it.i had one,liked it,gave it to a friend,and bought another..i have several of the cold steel drop-forged 52100 steel models,i like them all!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best dagger you could ever own
I have a lot of knives including the SOG dagger the Pentagon. which is a very lightweight knife it is sharp but I do not feel it's built very well. This cold steel dagger has a ridge on both sides instead of being flat like some of the new ones are. The belt clip on the sheath is amazing The weight of the knife is perfect size of the knife is perfect It is sharp and I ended up getting it shipped for $35 I paid $70 for the SOG this price should be the other way around. I highly recommend this knife one of the best cold steel products I've ever had. And I will say right now cold steel is a hit or miss sometimes you get the best product ever sometimes you get the worst this one absolutely the best!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best in class
Its couple of ounces heavier than other boot daggers of the same size, but if I could only have one boot dagger this would be it. Its a very strong knife, one solid piece of heat treated subzero quenched quality steel. The sheath is excellent and the ulticlip system is far superior to a standard belt clip. Excellent Back Up Knife

A quality boot knife.
Reminiscent of my old Gerber boot but in an almost unbreakable form, made from ball bearing steel, I like it better than L6 material. Outstanding double edge.
Symmetrically near perfect. Great heft and feel in the hand. No blade flex at all, truly arm shaving spear point. I can see these becoming a classic collectable. It's not balanced for throwing but a no-spin throw might be deadly on target. It has a lot of personality and value. Its' sheath is well made and designed for versatility. Superb military gift. Worth it if you can find one
This knife is one solid piece of 5200- ball bearing steel. It is well balanced and sturdy with decent retention in the sheath. It fits nicely in a mid height boot (provided the cuff of the boot isn’t padded because of the clip). The knife arrived lightly oiled and very sharp on both edges. My one complaint is the lack of texture on the handle. I hope Cold Steel gets these little boot knives back into production soon but until then if you can find one, get one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

An excellent knife from Cold Steel. Very durable with it's one piece construction. The sheath is plastic and I would give it a 2 star in that there is no retention other than the plastic pinching the knife.
