    Works great

    Purchased this to replace another displayport to dvi adapter that had a ton of noise and blacked out every few minutes, which is apparently a common problem with the active ones. I received it around 2 hours ago and don’t see any issues so far, so I’m happy with it. Initially it didn’t work with the integrated mini displayport on my x250 laptop, not sure why. Thankfully I had a full size displayport to mini-dp adapter laying around, and my laptop’s docking station has a DP port, so it still suits my needs perfectly. I’ll try another mini-dp source later on but for now this seems like a problem with my laptop. The image quality is crisp and clear and I’m getting 2560x1600 @60fps on my Dell Ultrasharp 3007wfp

    Full 2560x1600 resolution on Apple 30" Cinema Display

    I bought a late 2013 Mac Pro, but didn't realize that the HDMI connector would only give you half the resolution the A1083 30" Apple Cinema Display is capable of. The A1306 Thunderbolt adapter does the job and I am now back to 2560x1600 resolution.

    It takes the monitor image quality to the next level

    The adapter allows the monitor to work at 120Hz frequency which provides a great comfort to the eyes. It also has a USB port bypass as it requires one USB port to work properly.
