Sounds great after set bass treble
The only thing I did not like was it took 3 whole turns of volume knob to reach max 80 volume.. But sounds really good.. I like the remote and plenty of inputs..screen looks a little cheap could look much better with some design work..overall good stereo ....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Awesome unit--awesome price.
I really like the Sherwood RX 4105 AM/FM Stereo Receiver. The tuner is great and when it is hooked up to a good antenna I can get all of my favorite radio stations. I have a vcr/dvd and dvd player and also a tape deck hooked up to it and the sound is awesome. My TV only has spdif for output; but with an rca spdif adapter I am able to connect the two. The Sherwood RX 4105 that I received was in 'like new' condition and easy to setup. I've had this model Sherwood receiver for 16+ years. A thunderstorm power outage caused it not to power on. Checked the internal fuse. It was good. Still no power on. Great little unit
I have both Polk and JBL bookshelf speakers of good quality. My old receiver started making odd noise, and since it was old I decided to replace it.
