    Easier machine quilting!

    The open toe of this foot makes it so easy to see exactly where you want your machine quilting stitches to land. I have used the oval/round open toe feet but this square toe foot is the best for being able to see where my stitches are going. They cost a bit more but are totally worth the extra money.

    Smaller than a normal Bernina foot pedal

    This is like a mini version of the real thing. Almost looks like a toy. I've been a Bernina user for over 50 years and I was extremely surprised when this small version of a foot pedal arrived. The machine does work when using it, but the smaller size takes some getting used to and I have to wonder how long it will last.

    Works perfectly with my Bernina 830.

    My original foot pedal on my 1975-vintage Bernina 830 quit working. Repairs at my local Bernina store take several weeks so I ordered this replacement foot pedal hoping to be back in the game more quickly than that. It arrived in 3 days and works perfectly.

    An early review on what we hope is a durable product.

    This is a very early report, we have only had the control for two weeks. The foot control work well and has presented no problems. It costs much less than the replacement from the factory. Over the years the factory origonal has exibited reliabliity issues. This is a new design, avoiding the component that fails in the factory units, and we hope will last for many years. But, the factory foot controll worked for more than 10 years (this varies according to use). So we won't know if this control is better for some time. The new foot controls works well and seems durable. The Bernina 830 is a solid machine. We hope this combination works for years to come.
