    Bought used...would never know it!

    I already had an EV mic but wanted a backup. I've played for 50 years and always leaned toward EV...had a buddy who worked in the Buchanan plant. This is a dynamic mic. Not just how you EQ it but how you use it. If you learn how to work the low and high ends with finesse and power with your voice volume...well I think you will love this mic. I use this one for my primary now. And, it not only looks good its quality built. I bought this one used but in excellent cond. Looks like it was never touched.

    Great mic for vocals and guitar

    I played for a living for 20 years and have many more years experience playing live shows, recording and touring. The Shure SM 58 has always been my go to mic, in recent years, the Beta model of that mic, which is a very good mic, hard to beat for the price range. I really got this mic to mic up my acoustic guitar in live situations, and I have not been disappointed, it can do the job without feedback as well or better than anything I've ever used and has richer sound than the standard SM 57 many of us use. I tried it for vocals, just for fun, and it became my new baby, my word, this thing sounds insane for singing. You have to get right up on it or you wont be heard, so I found a foam windscreen to weed out pops and hisses that can come when you get your lips right next to a mic (the best ...

    I never sounded better

    Side by side with the akg d5, I would say the ev nd96 has the edge. Loving the flat top design. From ballad to rock, this works wonders. I just recommend using a mic popper, the pops are really noticeable. Overall, I highly recommend this mic.

    Great Mic

    This mic is hot! Your ND96 will be the loudest in your band. The sound is crystal clear. Being a near field mic, it doesn’t pick up as much ambient sounds as other mics. This is a great live mic that sounds great and is built like a tank! I’ve used 57’s, 58’s, 835’s etc. This is my all time favorite live mic!
