    Works as advertised

    I have had 100% success with Western Digital. 10 year old drives are still functioning. only one drive from 2015 has had an issue stating the drive could no longer be modified. but I was able to copy my drive to a backup. Once reformatted drive works great.

    Great drive for surveillance

    This is our first review and is only for a short term (one month since install). We will be keeping an eye on this drive to see how many years it lasts. Install environment is clean, dry and a steady 20 degrees C. This is our first non-retail purchase.

    Great Price, Ships slow

    Amazing price and drop shipped direct from western digital. Only downside and to be aware of is that they take 2+ weeks to deliver. Just be prepared to wait a bit for the price savings which I think is worthwhile. Will definitely buy again from them.

    Works on Older Hikvision Firmware

    Just for kicks, I installed it in my Hikvision NVR with the older firmware and it works. I thought I had to update my firmware before it will install. No problems.
