    Fitbit Alta strap has a shelf life

    The strap is good-looking and comfortable, but this is my 3rd strap in 2 years. The rubber near the Fitbit tracker section eventually erodes and then the strap can no longer hook to the tracker. Since it’s happened to my first 2 straps as well as to my daughter’s, I can say that it’s just the way it goes with the passage of time for the rubber and the plastic and metal and not one faulty strap. But it doesn’t deter me a bit since I love the Fitbit and I was thrilled to get the ebay Fitbit brand replacement band at a great price. So thanks!!!

    Lightweight and durable

    I like the interchangeable bands that go with the Alta. Changing colors is a nice change of pace. The snap band is easy to put on and remove, and I prefer the plastic bands to the leather, since I wear it all the time.
