It's the better camera with Xfinity home
This is the newer camera. It's much better than the i-Camera, its predecessor. I bought both so I could compare. Note that other Zigbee smart home cameras probably won;t pair with Xfinity. I tried another and the Xfinity controller would not recognzie it so I assume you must go with a specific "works with" Xfinity camera. The picture on this is OK but not great. Don't expect to read license plates from cars and see faces of strangers. Note this is about the same with other smart home cameras so it's not a knock on this camera per se. It's easy to pair and easy to use and configure in the Xfinity home control panel and app. I added the 24x7 recording servce at $9.95/month to one camera and this works well too. I also added motion Xfinity detectors to trigger videos on other cameras and this works well too assuming you can place the motion detector either inside such as a garage or outside well protected from elements.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good unit, but router to unit instructions could be better
I have the full xfinity package including Home, and added the camera without the recording option with this purchase. Camera quality is what I anticipated. The instructions are limited and the sequence is not described well, spent alot of hours trying different configurations to get the camera, power unit and router hardwired and wireless working together from both home tablet and my phone app. Still have an issue with night vision when hardwired. I'm frustrated by blinking blue lights that don't match the manual troubleshooting process.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

not the best way to have gone
