    Utility + Affordability = WINNER

    A high res camera that is very affordable and of excellent quality. This camera has 256 x 192 IR pixels giving extremely detailed heat thermal images as compared to my first IR camera that I have been using for 12 years as an electronic repair aid which has only 16 x 16 IR pixels. It works in a dark room, you can see people clearly. If you put your hand on a surface and remove it it will clearly show your hand print for quite some time. This is my favourite new tool.

    A very handy tool

    Great resolution for the price. Takes a little while to boot in around 20 seconds to boot and 30 seconds to initialise, but then great usability. Thermal camera is laggy compared to visual range camera, however, gives a great total view to identify heat sources. Excelent for seeing heat leakage in houses, also good enough to see stud timbers in walls, or timbers in celings. Well meets my expectations, great bang for buck.

    Good value.

    Uni-T seems to make good measuring equipment. I already use one of their meters and a power supply. This thermal camera seems another good compromise between quality, usability and price. Time will tell how durable is going to be.
