      Only bought it for spare parts for my wife's sewing machine of the same model.

      was satisfied with the purchase, only thing is that the price had to include the shipping which almost doubled the price. if i was closer to a large city, i would have called around for a unit that i could have picked up cheaply and saved the shipping.

      A Pristine Machine

      This machine was in pristine condition. It is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted an older model sewing machine that was not computerized. I needed a workhorse as a back-up for projects in my drapery workroom. It is durable enough to get the work done, but lightweight enough for me to carry to on-site jobs for repairs. This model was touted as being able to sew leather/Demin/upholstery fabric; I tested it with 8 layers of drapery fabric, and it worked like a dream.
