    These radios are good, Comparable to the RadioBoss units at a fraction of their prices.. Only bad thing, they are NOT FCC type accepted for anything except HAM Radio operations.. $5-$7,000.00 FCC fine if you get caught using these on commercial frequencies..

    Save your money, Buy a Motorola or equivalent.

    After reading other peoples reviews and doing research it seemed these would be a good buy. I bought these to use as radios on our film/TV project. I don't like writing bad reviews, but when it calls for it, I won't lie. THE GOOD: Because, they were easy to set up and for the most part use, and the battery life lasted all day, I give them 2 stars. THE BAD: With a supposed 5W of power we should have been able to communicate at least up to a mile and most GMRS radios with that much wattage say 30 miles. We were lucky if they got a signal in the room next door. Half the time they didn't work at all, the other half was unsatisfactory. We thought perhaps the headset might make a difference. It did. It made the situation even worse. We used them two seperate weekend shoots, one indoors, the ...
