About this product

Product Information

Combine your love of video games, building with LEGO bricks, and the wits, daring and non-stop adventure of one of George Lucas’s most beloved action heroes with "LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues." This video game, made for Xbox 360, takes players through four of the most nail-biting adventures the famous archeologist has ever had. "LEGO Indiana Jones 2" follows the story of Indiana Jones’ escapades from the jungles of South America to the Peruvian Ruins. The Xbox 360 game’s unique take on all of the Indiana Jones films includes adventures from "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." Play all of the new characters from "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," such as Mutt Williams on his motorcycle. Players can also use special abilities from “Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” including Oxley’s Crystal Skull Power to complete their tasks. Collect artifacts throughout the game to unlock more than 60 characters, including villains and friends with which you can play the game. Overcome the obstacles and find the precious treasures with Indy alone or alongside a friend in multiplayer mode. In "LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues," players can enjoy character swapping and free-play abilities in addition to two-player drop-in, drop-out cooperative gameplay. Once players beat every level in Story Mode, they can come back to it in Free Play Mode and go on a completely new kind of adventure. The game’s build-your-own-adventure mode allows you to create your own levels and environments and share them with your friends who are also Xbox 360 gamers. This is where the combination of LEGO and video games shines: you build the level out of LEGO bricks. You can also combine the adventures you created with the existing ones in the game to create a whole new story. In "LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues," Indy has all new animations and can grab an enemy with his whip before throwing him over his shoulder. This new, enhanced whip can interact with LEGO objects that can help unlock puzzles and battle with enemies. Help Indy fight enemies using a variety of weapons from the environment, like chairs, guns, swords, and bottles. The game’s all new vehicles including planes, boats, and mine carts help Indy cruise through the new levels, but watch out for the quicksand.

    Exactly as Described! Works Great!

Item is exactly as described and the game works flawlessly! I’ve officially completed my Xbox LEGO collection and I couldn’t be happier. As for the gameplay itself, it’s not the best LEGO game I’ve played but still fun. My favorites are the Avengers and Marvel Super Heroes games!

  • Major improvements to Lego gaming...

Have you had this experience? You're playing one of the Lego games (Jones 1, Batman, Star Wars) with your kids, and you can't accomplish anything, because your child has the attention span of an ear mite and won't cooperate and stay on-screen with you? Well, the issue's finally been resolved, with the addition of screen-splitting. When you're together, everything looks like it always has, but if one person decides to run away from the other, the screen splits in the applicable direction, giving both players relative freedom to do what they want. There are some hiccups, but this is huge progress none-the-less. There are also some new features that have been added since Indy 1. More whip functions, improved aiming and targeting, some improvement in the appearance of the world and ...

  • Like Lego or Indiana Jones? Then get this title!!!

I'll make this short and sweet... Gameplay: 10 The Lego Franchise has been kept simple and family-friendly...offering 'pickup-and-play' gaming style, while challenging players along the way. Audio: 9 - Actual voices for the characters would have made this a "10". Video: 10 - Top notch all the way! Re-playability: 10 - As with all Lego games, you will need to revisit each area to access features or items after the initial play through. Overall: 9.9 - The only thing missing is the voice acting. Even with this issue, Lego has another awesome title on its hands.

  • Feeling a little lost

I've been a long time fan of the LEGO video game series, and have enjoyed them all a great deal. This is the first one I'm not so sure of; in the other games, it is always fairly easy to check what needs to be done to reach 100% and what part of the story you're about to get into. In this one, going between parts of the story is sometimes not at all obvious. A few of the mechanics have changed since earlier games, though mostly for the better. The game is still enjoyable and it has that LEGO sense of humor I've come to love; I just prefer the more clearly-labeled means of level navigation in the past.
