About this product

Product Information

President Donald J. Trump lays out his professional and personal worldview in this classic work--a firsthand account of the rise of America's foremost deal-maker. "I like thinking big. I always have. To me it's very simple: If you're going to be thinking anyway, you might as well think big."--Donald J. Trump Here is Trump in action--how he runs his organization and how he runs his life--as he meets the people he needs to meet, chats with family and friends, clashes with enemies, and challenges conventional thinking. But even a maverick plays by rules, and Trump has formulated time-tested guidelines for success. He isolates the common elements in his greatest accomplishments; he shatters myths; he names names, spells out the zeros, and fully reveals the deal-maker's art. And throughout, Trump talks--really talks--about how he does it. Trump: The Art of the Deal is an unguarded look at the mind of a brilliant entrepreneur--the ultimate read for anyone interested in the man behind the spotlight. Praise for Trump: The Art of the Deal "Trump makes one believe for a moment in the American dream again." --The New York Times "Donald Trump is a deal maker. He is a deal maker the way lions are carnivores and water is wet." --Chicago Tribune "Fascinating . . . wholly absorbing . . . conveys Trump's larger-than-life demeanor so vibrantly that the reader's attention is instantly and fully claimed." --Boston Herald "A chatty, generous, chutzpa-filled autobiography." --New York Post

    The Art of Awesome

Not only is this a great book that gives insight into Trump's thinking progress (and he HAS remained constant on a number of issues over the years, notably how badly the US is doing in trade) but it's a historical investment. Fifty years from now when the US has a population of a billion, flying cars are old news and everybody remembers Trump as our second George Washington, the first edition of this book will probably be worth something.

  • DONALD TRUMP THE ART OF THE DEAL

After reading all his books, its easy to see why this is his best seller. The book gives Donalds life story up to the late 1980's. He explains how he negotiated probably some of the best deals in the United states and made his millions. It also gives an insight to Donald Trump the man, husband and father. This is a must read for any investor in realty, but also remains a great read, His deals come together in 'story like' fashion. It includes pictures of his father/mother and himself as a child plus his buildings. You will be amazed how the mayor of New york and other city officials wasted millions of tax payers money, and would have continued to do so, until trump stepped in. Agreat book thats worth investing the time to read.

Rec’d item in good order as described. C’mon…it’s The Donald and the book offers insight as to what drives the man despite half the nation and ALL mainstream/legacy print, media and tech news outlets attempt to assassinate his character.

  • Trump, by Donald Trump

I was interested in the way a successful mind like Dunald Trump operates. Now, I'm not saying he is morally successful, but only in a monetary sense. I am still reading the book, but I find it fascinating. It seems I have spent a great deal of my life giving to others, in time and resources, but I never have two nickels in my pocket left to rub together. I don't know if I'll ever be able to save enough to retire, (I'll probably work till I drop), but I wanted to see "how the other half" lived and more importantly, how his thought process worked. I am satisfied with my purchase, and what I've learned from his book. However, given the chance again, I still would choose the path I'm on. I think that moral wealth is far more important than the few ...

  • Trump: The Art of the Deal

I had this book years ago, and loaned to someone who didn't return it to me. This is to replace the one I "lost"... obviously I feel the book is worthwhile, and do recommend it. Deals are his art form!
