About this product

Product Information

When it is discovered that an enormous comet is on a collision course with Earth, a handful of Americans make different preparations for the end of the world. While Leo Biederman (Elijah Wood), the fourteen-year-old amateur astronomer who discovered the comet, deals with the pangs of first love, an ambitious newswoman (Tea Leoni) attempts to reconcile with her estranged parents. Simultaneously, a former astronaut (Robert Duvall) finds himself in the stars once again in an attempt to prevent the catastrophe from occurring. Mimi Leder (THE PEACEMAKER) directs from a script by Bruce Joel Rubin (GHOST) and Michael Tolkin (THE PLAYER).

    Just MST3K It

    Granted. There may be several critical research failures in this movie. However, people usually go to the movies to be entertained not educated so you may have to go with it. There are several wonderful acting turns. The drama doesn't feel contrived. The meteor feels threatening. And a take that against Armageddon, for those of you who hate it, is made. Can be well worth your time especially if you let it.

    One of the great disaster films of the 90's -- This is a movie about all the lives effected when a comet hits the planet earth -- From how people deal with it, To who chooses to stay and who chooses to run.... A very inspiring movie that has a lot of brilliant scene and a must see for fans of this genre of film...

    I really got to see this hold movie. And I really enjoy it. I love how Morgan freeman do his part in the movie to but in my collections of my last day movies that my friends and family enjoy. And i really enjoy the beginning of the movies as the man seen the light of the sky shooting like a star

    GREAT DUVAL VEHICLE WITH HIS ACTING ABILITY SHOWING THRU. ADVENTURE AND TENSIONS HIGH FROM THE START WITH EMOTIONS RUNNING HIGH FROM ALL THE ACTORS WITH SO MANY DIFFERENT PERSONAL PROBLEMS. LOTS OF BIG NAMES.
