  • Problematic Radeon hd 5450.

I have 5 or 6 of these 5450`s, and, sooner or later, they will make your computer crash because of buggy drivers. You might go a month or so, but sooner or later, the blue screen of death will appear. Reprogram your pc and it will work o.k. for a while. I have a 2gig that I have been using for about 6 months, and, it did it again the other day. If you cant step up to a higher line, I would stay away from them. They may be prone to being faulty. I think that an msi 5450 quit on me the other day. Not good when your trying to sell a computer. Real pain in the ass. I dont think that they are dependable. I`m changing to Nvidia. At least on the lower end budget cards. These cards also get a very low WEI Aero rating for some reason or another.. I have had much older VGA cards get higher ratings. ...
