This keyboard does so much more than I expected with a mix slider for each waveform and although for just one oscillator it has 4 waveforms, sawtooth, Square, Triangle and Suboctave Square, plus noise and an external input. Between the sub-octave voice and the ultrasaw which makes the sawtooth waveform sound like several oscillators it has a very full sound. An Octave switch allows the keyboard to move up or down 2 octaves beyond the initial setting Also modulatable PWM on the square wave output, a modulatable "metalizer" or wavefolder on the triangle output that allows for some really fat sounding waves. Plus a very good triple mode filter, dual ADSR and an unbelievably useful arpeggiator which the multiple waveform output LFO can be synced with. The LFO even has a random stepped output that is basically a sample and hold output clocked by the LFO. A setting called "Brutefactor" feeds back some output into the filter for a range of fatter to totally distorted sound the same way a most popular vintage synth does. I could go on and on but you just need to visit the internet for some demo videos and see what I am talking about. It's build quality seems better than it's price would predict, and it is a load of fun to use.Read full review

Quite an underrated synth imo. If your into the modular, semi-modular synth realm and you are fine with taking pictures of your presets or using the overlay to enjoy a truly unique and wholely analog synth in it's most unique classsic/modern form then consider the mininbrute. CV in/out, after touch, modulation galore, giving you so much variety of tambre for such a small package. If you don't like the limited keys it's worth getting a controller as many synths over time in rack form or desktop size will consume less space. If your not already convinced of it's sound via online demo's go listen to as many as you can. This synth covers a lot very well and what you may not get in sonic moog or roland or any other major classic analog tone you get an amazing original analog voice and not some clone that is just as rich and unique as any other. Believe me, you can get convincing classic tones out of this, but also some that no other's can quite like this one does. So given this synth usually goes fairly cheap, don't let that be a reason to put you off, if your new to synthesis this is a great synth to learn on. Full hands on control is the best way to learn and also imo the funnest way to play.Read full review

A do anything analog synth, equal parts euro and American in design, with a parameter scope that puts most mono digitals to shame. Plenty of sweet spots for the studio sound junkie. A steal at the price.

This is a very straightforward synthesizer. Do you not buy this if you are trying to make sounds like Serum. It has a very simple analog synthesis sound. Does teach you how to mix waveforms and what it does when you mix them together. It really shows you how waves cancel each other out and create a totally new wave. It’s not the flashiest synthesizer but it has tons of control and I think it sounds like a Moog. It does not save any presets though it is a hands-on control live synthesizer. It does have audio processing if you want to send your digital synthesizer through its analog filter it’s quite an amazing option!
