After playing through the main game of Fallout 3. It was time to get The Expansion packs and they are impressive. Lots of extra gameplay, more weapon choices as well as new perks. The Pitt offers a series of quests that take place in Pittsburgh, a former industrial giant of a city that wasn't hit with the brunt of the nuclear war. It has, however, gone into decay and a warlord has risen up to enslave the local population. When one of these slaves escapes to the Capital Wasteland looking for a savior who can also find a cure for the sickness that is slowly killing everyone, your hero takes up the challenge. And so it's off to Pittsburgh where you'll sneak into the slave colony and work from the inside to topple the establishment. "A new radio broadcast has been heard across the Capital Wasteland. It sounds like a distress call, but seems meant for certain ears only..." This is the beginning of Operation: Anchorage. The first quest simply involves seeking out a band of Brotherhood Outcasts who have stumbled upon some advanced technology. The trouble is, they can't get into the final room where they believe all of the real goodies lie. To get in, someone will have to work through a battle simulation that was created for training soldiers in advance of the push to free Alaska from China. If that sounds odd to you, you need to play more Fallout 3 to learn the back story which led to the entirety of the US becoming a nuclear wasteland.Read full review
Fallout 3 is a great game and operation anchorage and the pitt are great add ons for the game. I would definitely suggest buying these add ons together on this disk because they provide several hours of gameplay and your can rip its contents onto as many 360s as you want as many times as you want. Operation anchorage also follows a different style of gameplay than the rest of the game, but nonetheless it is still very entertaining. It is a lot better to buy this disk than to buy the two add ons separately, and if you liked fallout 3, you need to have both of these.
This is a great idea, to put Fallout 3 downloadable content on a disc. You can install it, and pass it to your friends who have the game or just resell it. Cost the same of downloading it, but you can make your money back! I think alot of games should use this idea, but sadly we probably wont see much of it because they consider that losing money!! Poor poor Microsoft, dont have enough already?
I bought this game a few weeks ago. I've played the other expansion pack, Broken Steel/Point Lookout, and this one is by far the better of the two. Operation Anchorage plays a bit differently than the Fallout 3 game. The Pitt offers more perks and morally gray choices. I'd recommend this expansion if you enjoyed Fallout 3 and would like to explore more of the wasteland.
I won this item 2 weeks ago and is a great game and operation anchorage and the pitt are great add ons for the game. I would definitely suggest buying these add ons together on this disk because they provide several hours of gameplay and your can rip its contents onto as many 360s as you want as many times as you want.
