After the Clan Refusal War decimated the forces of both Clan Jade Falcon and Clan Wolf, Clan Ghost Bear remains as the most powerful of Clans. But a terrible crime has been committed. Someone has stolen the stored genetic material of the Clan's founders, the very legacy of Clan Ghost Bear. You must conduct a series of raids to find out who was responsible for this crime and then punish them severely while recovering the genetic materials.<br><br>MechWarrior 2: Expansion Pack - Ghost Bear's Legacy is an expansion for the original MechWarrior 2. You begin as a Clan Ghost Bear cadet, partaking in a series of missions leading to the recovery of Clan Ghost Bear's genetic legacy, and must complete the mission objectives in each level successfully to advance. If you cannot complete the mission objectives or are destroyed, the mission is considered a failure.<br><br>The game remains faithful to the original MechWarrior 2, giving players the opportunity to pilot a range of mechs while viewing the game's 3D world from a first person perspective. Several new mechs and equipment types have been added to MechWarrior 2's roster for this game. In addition to the standard locales found in the original MechWarrior 2, the game adds in several missions with unique arctic, underwater and outer space environments.<br><br>MechWarrior 2: Expansion Pack - Ghost Bear's Legacy uses a unique difficulty determining system. In the first mission, you fight against an endless stream of opposing mechs. The game then tailors its difficulty depending on the number of mechs you destroy before your own destruction.

    Youth Remembered

    I bought this to put together the full Mechwarrior collection. I played this when PC&apos;s did not have nowhere near the capibilities of todays PCs. The graphics are antiquated by todays standards but it is still fun. Now that the new Mechwarrior has been announced by Smith &amp; Tinker, a revitalization of this old franchise is on the way. The complete collection consist of Cresent Hawks Inception, Cresent Hawks revenge, MW1, MW2-Ghost Bears Legacy add-on and MW2 Mercs, MW 3 and Pirates Moon, MW4-Black Knight add-on Innersphere Mech Pack and Clan Mech pack and MW4 Mercs. Then Mechwarrior when it is released, I have had a lot of fun over the years with this franchise so can you!

    Mechwarrior 2: Ghost Bear's Legacy

    The Mechwarrior 2 series are, in my opinion, the best of the Mechwarrior games so far. Graphics have improved over the years since its release, but the storylines, sheer playability and enjoyment have not been surpassed. The only drawback to the old series is trying to get it to run on newer computers--Windows XP does not play well with older games like this one. Once you get past that hurdle, Ghost Bear&apos;s Legacy (and Mechwarrior 2) will provide many hours of mech customization and warfare.

    And Old Ghost game

    Excellent ! If you have enjoyed The MechWarrior 31st Century Combat game, you&apos;ll enjoy the expansion pack of this old but so fantastic game. Old game, so you need and old computer or as I do, to use a Dos emulation program. I use &quot;Boxer&quot; on a Macintosh imac with leopard it runs perfectly well. The game is a bit difficult but you&apos;ll easily find the codes ... don&apos;t you .

    Careful if you're running XP or Vista!

    Be aware that this Win95 game is almost impossible to play on a Win XP or Vista machine (even in compatibility modes). There is a user-made patch to allow it to run, but results with the patch are somewhat spotty from machine to machine.
