    Super huge fan of the book slightly let down

    I am a total fanatic of the genre in general. I have been following movies and lore since I was a child. Being from Pennsylvania, I guess I felt I had a close connection to Romero. Perhaps that's where my fascination began. Several years ago, I picked up the Zombie survival guide by chance in a Barnes and Nobles and fell in love with it. I committed as many facts to memory as possible. I became an instant fan of Max Brooks. So naturally when World War Z came out, I let at the chance to read it. I have now read the book a solid 4 or 5 times and have enjoyed it every time. Sadly one of the downfalls of being a fan of any literary work leaves you susceptible to let down with any new interpretation of it whether it be written, spoken, or on the big screen...upset is a ...

    World War Z Audio Book

    If you're a fan of zombies, then you should already know about Max Brook's 'Zombie Survival Guide.' If you enjoyed the Survival Guide, then you'll enjoy 'World War Z.' I listened to the audiobook as I read the book and the two together were great! The audiobook doesn't provide all of the 'interviews', so if you read the book, there are many cool stories that really add to the overall picture. The audio gives you some great character development and paints a better picture of how the interview is conducted with Max Brooks as the interviewer. You will get a great experience reading the book and listening to the audio - highly recommended for any zombie fans!

    WWZ is an Amazing AudioBook!

    This AudioBook is awesome! Max Brooks' paints a frightening, yet poignant, picture of a not-too-distant-future Earth; in which the human race has barely managed to defeat a growing epidemic of zombies that threaten to devour and destroy the world. The World War Z story is told through the "interviews" of survivors. Brooks offers a distinct humanistic portrayal of the inevitable war against zombies. Elevating the story further is the large cast of voice talent like Alan Alda, Henry Rollins, Carl Reiner, Rob Reiner, and John Turturro, to name a few. This AudioBook is highly recommended!

    A must read for all zombie fans

    IF you are a fan of zombie stories... you MUST read this book! It covers aspects of a worldwide zombie outbreak from the initial outbreaks until victory from the point of view of a series of interviews with survivors of every front of the battle against the undead hordes. Max Brooks' writing makes the events seem amazingly realistic and believable. An absolutely riveting read. If zombies are your cup of tea, you won't be able to put this book down! I simply cannot recommend it enough!

    Awesome Audiobook

    i believe that in the next few years the name brooks will be known around the world as the foremost in zombie studies ... now on with the review i owned this in trade for about a year but my cat ate it so i replaced it with this and i am very happy to say good job and i cant wait for your next book Max Brooks!!
