Nostalgia at its best!
My sister and I used to play this series we were kids! The graphics are just like I remember, and the game play is as fun as if I'm playing it again for the first time. If you ever played this before or it's your first time, treat yourself and buy these! Disc's we're in near perfect condition and work as intended.

The game is made up of many different levels (realms), all connected together by hub worlds (homeworlds). The goal in each homeworld is to collect a certain amount of items, be it gems, rescued dragons, or dragon eggs, in order to travel to the next homeworld.[2] Each homeworld and its realms are progressively more difficult than the last. The first few realms are small fields with few ways to die, but they become harder later in the game. Many later levels focus on Spyro's ability to glide from platform to platform. Each homeworld contains an optional boss to defeat, except for the final homeworld where the boss is mandatory. Every homeworld contains a flying level (speedway) where Spyro's normal gliding ability is replaced with the ability to fly freely. The goal is to complete a certain ... I love the Spyro game series! It's usually advertised as a kids game but I'm a 22 year old woman who can't stand the "run through, shoot em up, get it done" kind of games, but I love Spyro!! This set starts the series featuring a sarcastic, smug, little purple dragon that saves the day by defeating the enemies and finding captured dragons or stolen treasure. All 3 games take hours to complete with puzzles, minigames, collecting, and of course frying the enemies. I think I spent an average of 30 hours per game, which made them well worth the money. This collection is for the Playstation so the graphics are outdated but after I was absorbed into the game I didn't even notice. The controls are pretty easy and the same or extremely similar throughout most Spyro ... I love the Spyro game series! I have played all the Spyro games made to date for game consols and I've thouroughly enjoyed them all (except the new one for X-box, The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, which is more of a run through get it done game that took $40 to buy and only 5 hours to complete). If you are interested in a story line, problem solving, and entertaining cartoon violence, then I highly recommend you buy this set. Good luck and happy gaming.
