    Works like the original slim drive

    I used this to replace the one in my Alienware Aurora R7. I was able to remove the front plate and SD card reader and replace with the one from my tower. It is the same Model as what came with my computer, so no software changes etc. I have only watched DVD with it, I am confident it would still burn DVDs if I tried it. It was definitely better than the cost of an external unit or a new slim drive.
