Glad you're enjoying it! A couple tips I've picked up is #1 Try to take a few photos while slightly adjusting the focus ring. It can be hard to tell on the camera if the subject is really in focus, so having a few options later is a big help.
and 2. If your camera allows for a digital zoom while you're shooting, you can zoom in on the subject and make sure they're nice and sharp. Just make sure you don't move the camera too much!
