    Just what my iMac needed!

    I was amazed to find a USB hub so compatible and aesthetically tuned to my new iMac. It actually looks like it was designed by Apple. This hub is USB 3, but is downward compatible. Because it is actually attached to the iMac and not sitting on the desktop, it neatly arranges all the USB connections so they do not present themselves as clutter on your desktop. The hub, made by Sabrent is actually made of Aluminum in a texture to match the imac. I understand that they are switching over to a matching plastic and once the Aluminum ones are gone, they will no longer be available, so I purchased mine as soon as I learned that in the future they would all be plastic. I have no real negative criticism of this hub. Unlike other brands that try to accomplish the same look, this hub plugs into one ...

    Does not work

    This hub does not recognize many usb devices including flash drives. Even using Sabrent AC adapter, it is unable to provide enough power to use an Apple external drive. And it is fiddly to install and remove. Very disappointed.

    Great Hub for the Mac

    The product is easy to install and use. It has handled the flash drives and hard drives that I installed with ease. It did not dislodge as I inserted the usb plug. I I have not experienced any problems with the hub in the relatively short time that I have been using it.
