    Nice quality knife

Good feel, excellent quality. Wood handle is a little too smooth so I will rough up for a better grip. Also the movement was a little stiff and needed to be fine tuned. All that is natural with a new knife. Good purchase, would recommend.

  • Great transaction

I got a brand new Benchmade 15080-2 at a wonderful price. This knife has a large shape blade that opens very easily. The lockback is very secure. I love the wooden handle.

  • Benchmade knives Rules!

I’ve owned quite a collection of Benchmade knives for years and carry one everyday, but today I received the Holy grail of my collection...the Hunt series Crooked River! What a great hunting knife! It’s no everyday carry unless you are a big ol boy, but it will more than meet the need for hunting or survival! The wood scales are beautiful and the S30V blade should remain useful for my grandkids to use one day! Benchmade is the king of knives and the Crooked River has to be a crown jewel for Benchmade. Feels good in an average size hand and is not obtrusive in your pocket.

  • Great Folding Knife For Everyday Carry For Those With Big Hands

A very well made knife. Smooth opening action with a solid lock up. If the edge of the blade even touches your skin you are going to bleed. The Crooked River is perfect for those whom has big hands and want an every day carry knife. This is a great replacement knife for my (stolen out of my checked bag from the Seattle TSA) Benchmade Skirmish. <-----another big folding knife that now cost around $500 used. I payed about $180 for it new 17 years ago. As long as you don't lose or get this knife stolen, this is a knife that can be heirloom material and will last several generations of users.

  • Nice but not perfect

There is imperfections between metallic and wooden parts of the handle that you can feel by running a finger on a back of a handle. Should not be on a knife that expensive but rather then that I like it. Fits well in a pocket. Exactly within legal limits in NYC but if I remember correctly 1/2" longer then NYC MTA allowed. NYC is funny that way. Knife price wise and quality wise borderline between mass produced and custom made knives that are much more expensive. If you can't or won't spend $500+ on a pocket knife that one is good enough substitute.
