My Parrot
My Parrot did not come with a user's manual and when I called Beach Audio to ask where I could get one, they gave me the number to the manufacturer of My Parrot. I called the number and after waiting over thirty minutes I gave up. I have searched, as best I could, online to see if I could purchase a manual but had no luck. Needless to say, My Parrot is sitting on my desk uninstalled and unused. It might work just fine, but didn't get a chance to use it except to set it up in the house, After slipping it onto the visor and about 10 miles from home while driving down the road, it fell off and hit the steering wheel, The molded clip that holds it on snapped into 3 pieces. I'll be looking for a different style that maybe has a springy wire clip instead of a rigid plastic one. It was shipped to me via USPS, but the return label they sent is UPS. So instead of handing it to the postman, I have to drive 12 miles into town to drop it off at a UPS place. The voice prompt for initiating a call does not work. The battery life is far less than the literature indicates. Transferring to a simultaneous incoming call requires using the phone screen control. Easy operation and good sound quality for both ends of the calls.
