    Goulds pumps are the gold standard of the pump industry.

    I have been using Goulds pumps for 20 years. I have switched to other brands which are much lower in price and have several years of warranty and I have had to replace most of them. The pump has to fit the application but I find Goulds pumps to fit just about every application that I have had. They have the shortest warranty (1 year) but seem to have the longest life. I have many pumps that have been installed for more than 20 years. Most Goulds pumps are also USA made.

    If they could just make it lighter.

    The best reasonably priced effluent pump in the industry. Made in the USA and extremely heavy duty and rated for continuous duty. Much more expensive than other models of effluent pumps but this one will still be functioning long after you have scrapped others. I currently have over 900 of these pumps (in various voltages) in my alternative wastewater systems and will not use any other.

    Pricey but worth it.

    This pump is like Timex. It just keeps working like the energizer bunny. It is a heavy duty pump and is rated for continuous duty. I have installed close to 500 of these pumps over the past 20 years and as long as I remain in business I will install many more in the future. The only drawback is Gould's one year warranty. I have one of these pumps in a system that is now 24 years old and still working. They can take a lot of abuse and keep on running.
