I expected it to have a longer battery life, but maybe its because its a second hand product. It's smaller than I remembered too and texting can be a bit tricky. I'm in love with the Camera and the nostalgic aesthetic of phones back in the 2000's . Just bear in mind.. If your buying this, then you will need a Sony Ericsson charger and a lead to convert the charger port into a 3.5mm jack for headphones. DOES NOT HAVE JACK PORT. The converter works fine :) The other thing is charging itself. I cant charge it from a USB socket and have tried three different cable and three different sockets. I dont know if its because its an old phone, but it will charge on all my cables if plugged into a PC or laptop, very odd. Its a very nice, retro phone and if you want some nostalgia for under £30 or so, its brilliant. It was a great phone back then and still is now :) Remember its different to phones now, is a lot smaller an a bit more tricky to text / navigate.Read full review

Got a good joystick very responsive and flash is good and camera is good enough for a 3.2mp but photos are quite dull sometimes the colour is not captured. It can take a 8gb card m2 memory card but doesn't have a very loud speaker. Size is compact and pocktable and the keypad buttons are responsive and not that fiddly you can easily text with them.

First the weakness: the phone can be prone to software issues which cause the operating system to become corrupted.. mine started loosing capability java games, themes etc. I think this has something to do with the way it was unlocked. This can be fixed with a re-flash (£20-£30 in most shops); to be on the safe side I'd suggest getting one which is locked to your chosen network or one that has been completely de-branded. If you want a good solid camera which is also a very usable phone the Sony Ericsson k800i is one of the best around; I'd argue that it is better than many of the newer models. At 3.2 Mega-pixel it is good enough for all day to day snaps. The xenon flash makes it good indoor and out. The BestPic feature is nice, this takes nine picture in rapid succession; it is very good for catching a smile on our 4 month old and our dog. The only snag is that it the auto-focus has a noticeable delay, you can however get reasonable pictures with this turned off. What I really love is the blog feature. All you do is select a picture and "send to blog". A blog is automatically created, the picture is posted and you get a text with the web address and log-in details; all following pictures are added to the same site. It is perfect for sharing pictures with family abroad. Also it means if you loose your phone you have a back-up of your favourite pics (albeit in lower resolution). If you get free web use for topping up (3, Virgin) it is like sending loads of picture messages for free. The one thing I'd change is the joystick as I find it is easy to press in by accident while navigating. Also the calculator is rubbish.Read full review
I needed a decent camera phone, K800i is a bit old now but it's still a beauty. Makes phone calls (!) and takes great pictures. Being picky I'd say it's a bit too easy to open the camera cover (the K810i fixed that), the buttons are a little small and it seems to use more battery than I'd expect but that could just be an old battery needs replacing. Overall I'm very happy with this as a cheap solution to my need!
Bought to replace the same model that I had since 2008 but sadly dropped and broke! The quality of the lens, images and photo software is well above average and can be enlarged and printed to a high standard. The USB connection is ideal for downloading to computer. The screen is a generous size for looking at photos and for reading texts. Using a memory card allows for photo storage. And I like the traditional touch key pad.
