The KX-TG684 is expandable up to six handsets and also comes equipped with noise reduction so you can hear the person calling you. Power backup operation lets you make and receive phone calls with the cordless handsets during a power outage. Key Detector-compatibility lets you attach an optional key detector to a frequently misplaced item and use your cordless handset to locate the lost item. Talking Caller ID feature uses text-to-speech technology, announcing the caller's information in between rings. Intelligent eco mode automatically lowers the power consumption when using the handset close to the base unit to extend the available talk time. DECT 6.0 Plus technology delivers superb sound quality and outstanding range. Engineered to work in 1.9GHz frequency, the phone won't conflict with common wireless devices.

    Can not say enough regarding my purchase of my Panasonic KX-TG4744B Four Handsets Cordless Phone Answering System DECT 6.0

    This is my second time to purchase my Panasonic phones. In fact, I can't remember how long my phones have lasted. It has been several years. The batteries last a long time. I've had other phones,however, Panasonic has been my choice. I'm more than satisfied with these phones.

    Great for the Money

    This item is a great value, but I don't mean cheap. It has nearly every feature that you could want from a wired phone, for me the big selling point is the call blocking. Many IP phone providers do not offer blocking of specific numbers and this is the solution. The set up is medium easy for someone who can read but if you are technically challenged, you might be a little confused. The sound quality is the best I've had in many years, and since my wife is satisfied, so am I.

    Large display and large buttons

    I had wanted phones with the headset ability because of my arthritic hands and this is perfect. It also has a clip on the receiver so while you are talking it can clip onto a belt or even your pants pocket. I was glad to find these on eBay, that are hard to find with the headset ability.
