    Basic, no-frills reliability.

    Has everything one needs, with nothing one doesn’t. It has solid power delivery precision — I was only seeing millivolt fluctuations under about half load. Rated 100,000 MTBF. Has a fan, which runs more or less constantly, but doesn’t appreciably add to the noise of my machine. Plenty of connectors to drive a machine with 6 drives and a PCIe GPU, with a couple to spare. (No splitters!) Cables are indeed longer, makes easier runs under the motherboard. Caveats: “Basic” really means basic. No modular cables and no mesh netting on the cable bundles. Nothing RGB. Power efficiency, from what I could find, is a meager 73% at 50% load. (None of this matters to me, as this is a “daily driver” machine that’s hibernated half the time.) Well worth the purchase.

    Good budget PSU

    If your looking for a budget PSU, this one does the job pretty well, I was a bit disappointed to see the wires didn't have black wire mesh on them to mask them, all but the main 24 pin plug, but hey, it's a budget priced PSU, it works and works well for what I bought this unit for ... it's perfect. Yes I would recommend this for a budget build.
