Been trying to contact the seller with no response. A key part is missing with the package and cannot get a reply from the seller. Sure it is just a mistake but would like to have a reply. Weather vane part missing which is key to holding the roof in place of this bird feeder. If I don't hear back today will just send it back and get my money back.

Squirrel Be Gone Feeder
The Perky Pet Squirrel Be Gone is okay, the only disappointment is that the Cardinals and Blue Jays are resistant to go to the feeder, however, to be fair the feeder is on my deck not in the open. My prior feeder, which the squirrels loved as did all the birds was also on the deck. The feeder does keep the food dry, holds a large quantity of food and does not allow the squirrels access to the feeder. Very Nice Feeder!
This is a really nice metal bird feeder. The only thing that is plastic is the base that you nail or screw down. It seems to be well built. I'm adding this on now that I have had it awhile. This is really an awesome Bird Feeder! It is so easy to fill. All you have to do is turn the Cardinal on top half a turn and lift the lid off to fill. I noticed a week ago that there were not hardly many birds coming to it anymore. Then walking by it I noticed it looked clogged up. The feed has some powder in it, and then when it rains. Nice looking and sturdy
It is one of the best looking bird feeders on the market, and the construction is very sturdy. It looks GREAT on the pole, BUT............not one bird has eaten from it, and I dont know why. They empty the two other feeders we have, but wont touch this one, strange. Will try to move it and see what happens, but again, it is our favorite.

Nothing's perfect.
A really determined squirrel can get at the food, esp. if it's willing to hang upside down from roof. For the most, it's pretty good. But the upside down squirrel can throw the balance device out of wack, so I have to use duct tape to make sure it stays in place. Lock on roof is good.

quality construction and easy to use. squirrels are smart and clever animals. at first they were falling off but discovered they can hang from the wire hanger and reach over and bypass the weight sensitive perch and get to the seed, albeit only a seed at a time.
