Way Better Than Original!
We've had our Maytag washer about 50 years, along with the original lint filter. The filter finally wore out and after some research, I ordered this one. My wife is estatic (I didn't tell her I'd ordered a replacement). The quality is far better than the original. This filter has a fine, metal mesh screen that makes it really easy to remove the lint. Doesn’t fit old Maytag gas dryer very well
The plastic framing is too large for the dryer slot to fit properly. This isn’t the first time it’s happen as the dryer is about 40 years old. It may be that the part fits the newer model. In order to fit I had to shave the sides down and top corners so it would slide into the slot easily.
