I recently bought this old copy of Game Informer, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The item was shipped promptly, and the magazine arrived much faster than I anticipated. It was in excellent condition, just as described in the listing. The pages were crisp, and the cover looked brand new. Overall, a fantastic transaction that exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

Price is reasonable despite its age of product kept in its brand new packaging. Booklet was yellowish - might have been kept too long; but I appreciate that it is unopened - all good!

    Clear headed Eminem Kills it!

Much better than I first thought it was when I originally heard it. Recovery finds Eminem in a clearer headspace than in previous albums, and the resulting album was much more coherent and downright poignant than his previous 2 efforts: Encore and Relapse. Now it is just my opinion but I can't even listen to 'Just Lose It' or 'Crack a Bottle'. Instead on Recovery you get some great tunes with an edge and more personal introspection that inevitably comes with recovering from addiction. Personal favorites include 'Talkin to Myself', 'Going Through Changes'(shout out to Black Sabbath!!) and Love the Way You Lie'. Not to mention that this album contains one of Em's biggest radio hits in 'Not Afraid', in which he even mentions album 'Relapse' being less than his usual quality. Some may not like ...

  • Eminem Recovery

Recovery delivers: great punchlines, a refusal to countenance single-syllable rhymes where three will do, and an underlying tone of genuine anger are present in abundance. Eminem can do more than parodies. Sadly, a piecemeal approach to production (Dr Dre has just one credit) leaves the album lacking an abiding mood and drowning in fashionable soft-rock samples. Not a classic perhaps, but Recovery puts a stop to any concern that Eminem had become nothing more than a bawdy caricature.Lacking the skits, traditional guests, and goofball lead singles that characterized his previous albums, Recovery is Eminem coming to terms with his own legacy, shedding the tired formulas that marked his previous works and attempting to reassert his place in the pantheon of the hip-hop elite. Enjoy it.

  • WOW WHAT A CD!

Wow is all I can say about Eminem. That's all I've ever been able to say about him. lol. This time it's different. There are so many emotions that play into these songs. Some give me chills. My 12 yr old daughter loves this cd. She thinks that he's right about the world with judgement. I can't say that I agree with every word said however I can say he does have perspective. He's had ups and downs like all of us, only his were in the public. Now that must have been a blast! Anyway, I bring this up because we know how it feels to hit your lowest and then feel that you've found your high only to slip up again. I feel like we all have done that, maybe not to an extreme but on some level. That's how his music works. It's like saying,"Okay, so ...

  • RAP ALBUM OF THE YEAR

If hip-hop is dying, than Eminem is the adrenaline shot that is keeping the heart beating. Eminem’s “Recovery” is just what hip-hop needs, as this is by far one if not his finest works lyrical on an album. Just a year past after his last release: “Relapse”. Eminem is back and his new album Recovery states that. I have not heard his flow so crisp and so tight since “The Marshall Mathers LP”, and for you voice pickers out, yes Eminem is back to his normal voice for most of the Album. On “Recovery”, Eminem is showing the maturity in his lyrics, but still maintains the purity which in why I love Eminem. He has adapted to the changing trends in hip-hop but still maintains what keeps him apart for other rappers. For example this album appears to have a few more guest artists than pervious one ...

  • Great and different from his other work

I have been an eminem fan since the slim shady lp came out. I love his music. I had every cd of his until his greatest hits came out. Because relapse to me sounded a lot like encore, but worse. When recovery came out, I waited awhile to pick it because I was on the fence about weather or not if it was gonna be another relapse cd. Which it wasn't. Come to find out, this is the first album eminem made completely sober & you can really tell he is clear headed on every track. I give this album a Two thumbs up rating. He is on cue on every track. Stay on ur game eminem. Buy this album if ur an eminem fan for life.
