Nice SATA enterprise mass storage in 2.5" form factor
Some low end servers do not take SAS hard drives. This is when to use this one, enterprise grade SATA 2.5" drive. Read and write speed is 140 MB/s which is not a lot compared to SSD, but it is 2x cheaper per GB, and no worries about how long the data can be kept. If you did not know, enterprise SSD are only really rated for 2 weeks of reliable storage. After that, you are supposed to scrub the bits (like the way ZFS does it in Solaris) or risk silent data corruption down the road.Some low end servers do not take SAS hard drives.
