    Gingher 8" shears

    I was relunctant to purchase the shears when it was mentioned that they were a bit heavy, but I think the little bit of extra weight acctually helps make it easier to cut through material. I was suprised to be able to cut through the seams in jeans so easily. I have always used cheaper scissors when in my sewing, but when I purchased and used these for the first time I was glad I spent the extra money - well worth it. Holding them in your hand you know these are quality shears.

    Gingers are the best

    Gingher shears are one of the best products available for the home seamstress. I have used Ginghers for years...and bought these so I would have a good pair to use while I send my older pairs off for sharpening * *note: Don't let just anybody sharpen your Gingher shears.... I have always sent mine back to Gingher to have this done... the cost is just $12.00 which includes return postage. And you get back shears that work just like new.

    Gingher Scissors are a must for anyone that Sews

    I have seen items for 40+ years and have tried every kind of scissors out there. Gingher Scissors can't be beat. They cut smoothly through fabric with ease. Just don't use on anything other than fabric to keep them sharp. Excellent quality and will last for decades if taken car of!
