Product Information

TimeSplitters 2 continues the time traveling exploits of a scheming alien race and the heroic warriors who vow to stop them. Making its Xbox debut, the first-person shooter sets itself apart from most titles in the genre by taking place in ten environments that encompass the past and future, including the Wild West in 1853, 1932 Chicago, 1895 Paris, 1920 Aztec ruins, 1990 Siberia, 2019 Tokyo, and more. Five modes of play consist of Story, Arcade League, Arcade Custom, System Link, and Challenge. Also featured is the ability to create custom single- or multiplayer levels using the MapMaker editing tool.<br><br>Story mode offers a mission-based narrative spanning 500 years of gun-toting action. Reminiscent of the television series Quantum Leap, players will "zap" into the bodies of characters from various time periods and use weapons of that era to complete primary and secondary objectives, ranging from rescuing hostages to eliminating surveillance devices before infiltrating an enemy compound. Missions in Story mode can be played alone or cooperatively with a friend on one of three difficulty levels, which expand the number and nature of objectives in addition to increasing the overall challenge.<br><br>Arcade League features a series of tournaments against specific groups of enemies and under varying conditions, such as using certain types of weapons or completing objectives within time limits. Arcade Custom, as the name suggests, has players designing their own tournaments with configurable options, such as score limits, power-ups, handicaps, and more. Players are also free to select and adjust a team of computer-controlled bots to compete against when friends aren't available. Challenge mode has players engaging in offbeat scenarios, such as trying to shoot as many heads off zombies as possible within the time frame, in order to earn performance bonuses.

PS2 was listed as fully tested in working. Upon receiving the PS2 the disc tray was stuck and not opening. Luckily I was able to fix it for the most part. However shouldn't this have been noticed if the console was fully tested? I messaged the seller and they just told me to push on the disc tray and that it might just be damaged in shipping. Unfortunately I can say that the packaging was not up to par. The PS2 itself was in a giant priority mail envelope. Inside a box. No bubble wrap.

    Just a good little gay in that brought you back to the old titans win games were actually worth playing Had this game when I was younger and remember playing the multiplayer/bottom Road quite a bit with my friends So if you are a vintage video game collector take this game up

    This game can really have you busy for awhile. With tons of extras, this game is worth having just for the unlockable mini-games. There is much of Goldeneye 007’s influence here, as some of the same people worked on it. This is evident in the incredible quality of everything- the detail in the environments, the non-linear stage layout, the appropriate music. Also much like 007 is the perfect balance between stealth/strategy/action. This one really is top quality. The design-your-own stage aspect of this game is particularly addictive, and you can actually turn out a great place to play either your own objectives or multi-player (and playing as a monkey never gets old). The style of this game is very much a caricature of cartoon-like common stereotypes, which may throw off some people ...

    Awesome 1st person shooter! Funny and action packed

    This game has decent graphics for a 2005 release. Very entertaining story. Doesn't play on the xbox 360. Download the game's update from xbox live, I have the impression that the graphics improved after updating the game.
