    NEAR PERFECT HOME PRINTER

    The PHOTOSMART series is my favorite HP printer family because I print 1,000s of prints every year. This printer has everything I like...especially the HP-564 XL (4 cartridge, no photo black) inks. I like the TOOLS feature where you can align, clean cartridges and I like the SCAN feature which I use to enlarge portions of single jpeg photos... an enhancement for my use. My one deficit is the PAPER TRAY. I find it VERY DIFFICULT to allign quickly...CUMBERSOME. Otherwise it's an excellent printer making excellent, crisp images. I reccomend it as a good, basic printer.

    Having Issues with Black Ink Cartridge

    This is a very nice printer, a snap to set up and use wirelessly. The 'starter' cartridges have very little ink and I have been unable to get the black ink print reliably. I have cleaned and aligned the print heads and swapped in a high-capacity cartridge. I did buy the extended warranty (very inexpensive) and will be contacting the appropriate folks for help. The scanning feature, including PC menu, is great.

    Good for the money

    The printer is compact yet does a lot of things. It doesn't hold much paper, the cartridge that holds the paper is finicky and the little wing that pulls out to catch the printed page is flimsy. The scanner is a little more complicated than it needs to be but once you figure it out it works fine. On the other hand, it makes great prints, has a gray scale option, prints 4x6 photos, prints double-sided and has a simple user interface. It's easy to set up and uses 4 separate ink cartridges. I recommend this printer to a home user who needs to print and scan.

    PRINTER IS THE OUTSTANDING QUALITY THAT YOU EXPECT FROM HP!!!!!

    This Printer Is The High Quality That You Expect From HP!! Prints very nice and is easy to use with the tablet style touch pad! I have over 3500 copies on my 6520 HP Printer and it still prints perfect! Highly recommended. Not recommended for photo printing as uses too much ink if you want to print photos. Love this Printer!

    So far this printer is doing the job I expected. This my second one. The first one had a problem printing black. This is a well known problem with this HP printer and the engineers need to fix it. I got a refurbished one but paid a little more to get the maintenance insurance which I would recommend to anyone interested in this product. Time will tell if it earns my full confidence.
