    A Great Deal - Absolutely as described and more than expected. QC i7 3.3 Ghz, 16Gb RAM, 1 TB Fusion Drive, 4K .... what not for $549

    This imac that i purchased is a great deal that i found so far. This refurbished item is as near to new one. Crispy Screen and a clean wiped product. When it arrived, as the fusion drive was formatted it showed as two seperate drives. but later it was found, we need to create core storage (videos available in youtube "fixing fusion drive"), and the OS was reinstalled.. i should say, it is better than using a complete SSD. Fusion drive is HDD+SSD, but the advantage is, we get more storage and also SSDs performance. Totally i love this product, very clean and safely packed, though not on the original box. The one thing is, it did not came with Apple keyboard and mouse, but with Brand new K750 Logitec solar keyboard and mouse. which is kind of acceptable. otherwise this is again a great deal. ...

    SSD vs HHD is big deal on iMac

    On iMac SSD vs HHD turns out to be a big deal. I have a 27 inch model that came with an SSD but the screen is cracked. Changing the hard drive would require you to slowly heat the adhesive the holds the screen in place while carefully prying open the glass. And be careful! With models after 2012 I believe the glass is attached to the lcd so if you break it—that’s about 400-600 dollar repair. If you’re like an enjoy a challenge you’ll be fine. But if your rolling the dice on that mechanical drive not failing—and it does????!!!!! Whoa buddy!!!! I’ll go to Saint Patrick’s and light some candles for you!!!
