The product was exactly as described and was promptly received. I was especially impressed at how the seller carefully packaged the product to prevent breakage. I had a minor issue after the sell, however, the seller immediately reached out and the issue was satisfactorily resolved. I would purchase from this seller again.

Great deal for earlier Nikon AF lenses

With the announcement by Nikon that it is discontinuing its APS-C DSLR cameras (except the D7500) scoop up on the earlier D7000 series. They are more durable than the D3000's and D5000's series of cameras. Also, the D7000 series can use the non-AF-S lenses. If you have a bunch of the earlier Nikon AF lenses and can't afford Nikon's full-size sensor DSLR this is the way to go. I have to make a case for the D7100 which I bought and am using. It has a dual-slot SD card setup (which the D7500 only has a single SD slot). The D7100 has a 24MP sensor compared to the D7000's 16MP. So, if you have a bunch of earlier Nikon AF lenses, as well as their new AF-S ones then get a D7100 and you will not be disappointed.

  • hard to beat this lens/camera combo when purchased used on ebay.

The D7100 camera is a nice update to all the older mag body nikons I have used starting with the D1. It has more scene modes that are sometimes useful to the professional, but I don't use that stuff very often. The video capability is nice and I can use it as another view when doing a video shoot with my 4k camera. The focus is much faster than the 3K or 5K series cameras and it has all the usual manual settings that are helpful in special situations. it takes a little work to figure it out, but if you know your stuff, the camera is an excellent solution. I even use my vintage primes with it in manual mode. It holds a lot of memory so you can do a lot of shooting with it. Buying one used on ebay with a good lens turned out to be a good value because I had busted my previous ...

  • It's like Christmas...

The question "Is it easy to use?"... This is and was a camera designed past the beginners models and so it has a lot of different settings and abilities and capabilities an entry level camera doesn't.. I will be learning about this camera for a while. I am extremely happy with deal I got on this camera... Were it not for that, I would still be shooting my D3400... Don't get me wrong.. I can do a lot with the 3400... I hope to do more with the D7100.. I attached a couple of pictures that I shot with this camera..

  • Love

I adore this camera. For someone who is slightly more serious about photography than your standard user but still not a professional photographer by any means, this is the perfect camera. It has the size and weight of a full frame DSLR with the menus and options to match, but still boasts the crop sensor that's more forgiving for a semi-amateur and supports a larger array of lens options. As with any semi-pro camera, it takes some time to fully learn what all the buttons are and what they do, but once you spend the time to figure this camera out, you will be more than happy with your photos. I've had two of these in the past, and after my first one I tried to upgrade to the D7200 but found that I honestly preferred the menus and quality of the D7100, so I returned the 7200 and went back to ...

  • very powerful enthusiast camera

while you can set the camera to the "auto" mode and take really good pictures, you will not take a picture that "POPS" unless you dial in your own custom settings. and, boy, does this camera let you set anything and everything! as most dslr cameras now days, the d7100 has modes in which you can set the shutter speed, aperature, or both, adjust the ISO in any mode but auto. the on-board image enhancers are fun to play with also. and there are what i call my cartoon modes where you can shoot pictures in a crayon-like drawing, or single out colors and black and white the rest... the lcd screen is a nice 3" high resolution screen which makes the high def videos easy to see. there is a wide selection in video quality also, including frame speeds. i have had this camera for a couple months now, ...
