This knife is awesome! Not too big, not too small. Goldilocks carried one. She whacked the wolf who thought he was big and all bad and shiite. Handle has great grip should your hands get bloody. Sheath? Awesome. Still debating on how many straps to cut off. Upper one is gone. Jury is still out on lower one. Looks like good blood drainage on bottom of sheath. Gore too! All in all, a terrific investment and will be by my side till the Shiite hit's the fan!

An outstanding small fixed blade knife for general use, the kraton (polymer) handle is a nice upgrade and more durable to the leathered handled. The cutting edge is sharp out of the box, but is also easy to resharp, the dark finish is durable and resistant. The kydex sheath is also a nice upgrade to the leather ones. In this configuration is a really good knife for use in any weather.

Non slip handle excellent in rain or snow. Best hunting/camping tool ever! Used it for dressing out game, chopping and throwing. The coating wore off the tip (from throwing into planks, trees and telephone poles) but I don't mind, it's still solid and sharp and good to look at.

The knife is awesome! I have owned a number of knives over the years. Seems most knives these days are made from stainless steel. Which is fine if you don`t want it to tarnish. But, not so good if you want a sharp edge or want it to hold an edge. With 1095 CRO VAN steel, the high carbon steel is easy to attain a sharp edge (shaving sharp) and one that will hold an edge. I will NEVER own a outdoors knife again made from stainless steel. Too hard to sharpen, and they lose their edge as soon as you cut something (anything) with them, OK for kitchen knives but not for a working knife.

Perfect size and blade for camping and hunting. Must polish factory edge in order to truly make it "razor" sharp. I used a fine Arkansas stone to give the factory edge a mirror finish. Knife now cuts meat with very little effort. Edge is still very durable with sub 20 degree angle.

I mainly use it at work. Cutting line (rope) and opening sealed boxes. Very tough and reliable. I imagine it would be a great hunting/camping knife. I highly recommend any Ka-Bar knife.

Got this to replace a WWII example, having discovered that the grip is durn near perfect. Sheath is modern plastic. Blade geometry excellent. Only improvements would be to use a modern alloy, and angle the handle down about 20-25 degrees.

I bought 2 knives for my 2 trucks, just in case I need them, aside my Buck 110 because they are very good quality knives that are " Built to Last" and then "pass them on" when I am done with them .

This knife is AWESOME. I have had many of the other common Ka-Bar knives this one is different. I like it a lot better myself. Grip feels great! Easier to conceal than other Ka-Bar. Five Star all day
