    Exact fit

    Reading google links suggested the defrost timer, the defrost heater or the defrost thermostat. My timer has a knob to turn, timer is good. Defrost heater? Bought one and I'm clueless how to install it. So, it's yet another thermostat in an appliance. (The cycling thermostat failed in my dryer.) Easy fix. The hard part was mopping up melted ice and getting the ice maker plug out of the back wall. My refrigerator is working like brand new.

    Without this, my refrigerator would be sent to the dump

    The defrost thermostat in my 25 year old Amana bottom freezer BR22VW refrigerator failed and would no longer defrost. Replacing it with this one fixed it. Saved me trouble, a lot of money and almost all the food in my fridge.
