Great seller. The book arrived a bit damaged (because of carelessness on the shipping company’s end) and the seller was very kind and communicative and accepted the return right away. They sent me a replacement packaged with extra care and it’s great!

Excellent book giving both sides of the conflict between the Native Americans and pioneers as well as the efforts of Chief Ouray to mediate the best possible outcome.

  • Chipeta

A very good book to read. A lot of history and accurate too. I live in Colorado and not far from Chipeta and had heard a lot about it. I have a friend who let me read her book. She knew on of the authers. Had to have one for myself.
