These vinyl records are defective.
I always clean my records before each playing, even brand new LPs. This is my second copy of Kiss - Dynasty. The first copy had very loud pops and clicks on the first track. I returned it and received my second copy. This one ALSO HAS THE SAME DEFECT, only on the third track. I wouldn't mind so much, but it's always on one of my favorite tracks. I did several cleanings and used anti-static brushes, and nothing fixed the annoying added sound effects. What's the point in pressing in 180 grams and replacing old worn records if the NEW IMPROVED copies have defects that effect the enjoyment of the listening experience? I have replaced all my KISS records, and all but this one sound wonderful, very quiet, no added noises.I always clean my records before each playing, even brand new LPs.
