  • The Craving by MD.45 [Remastered]

Unfortunately, when Dave Mustaine took on his side project to give him some space from Megadeth for a while, they only lasted long enough to release one album. But despite their short existance, they left an impression on the metal genre... or atleast on Mustaine himself. Although the original album just had Mustaine on the guitar, the remastered version featured him on vocals as well, giving most of the songs a darker feel we're familiar with from Megadeth. Furthermore, he also includes his ever-present vocal stylings that were lacking in the original. Fight Hate is definately one of the best songs on this album, and although the short circus instrumental near the end of the album is barely tolerable, it barely detracts from the entirety of the album.

  • 1990's or 2004 version? both featuring Dave Mustaine. they are different.

I bought this because my boyfriend was reading Dave Mustaines latest book and learned about the Md.45 cd and had to have it. What he failed to mention was there are two versions of the cd from two different decades. Both with Daves hand in them. Aparently one of the differences is Dave being the lead singer versus being the guitarist mostly only. I'm still not sure. Only thing I am sure of is if you don't wanna end up buying both versions like I did, better find out if the one you want was produced in the 1990's or the 2004 version. Hope this helps!

  • buy and listen to the original master.

I like the Lee Ving original master much, much more. The vocals are much more soulful, just like even Dave Mustaine himself reportedly said. I think even the guitars sound better on the original. I am a serious megadeth fan and to me the original version is a quite enjoyable and interesting listen. But the remaster with the replaced vocals and altered guitars just isn't what was meant to be.

  • Interesting CD

This remastered record is really interesting. All Megadeth fans should own it. I have both versions, the original one and this remastered, nice to compare them.

  • the craving remastered md .45

i bought this thinking lee ving was on vocals ,however its dave mustaine , still good solid metal rock /punk but not lee ving ,, i recommend the earlier version , better vocals less metal
