    King of Consumer Monitors

    I have 6 LG monitors--one in every room that has a computer. It's an all-around good consumer monitor. Every one of them is functioning perfectly after years of use. Here's a tip: when you shut them off you use the Windows power option "Choose when to turn off the display" and enter 1 minute. To make it easy you create an icon on the taskbar for Screen Saver: Search on the internet for Major Geeks "how to create a screen saver settings shortcut". Don't use the power button that may wear out over time.

    Affordable 10-bit color for desktop (non-gaming) applications

    I appreciate that 8-bit + FRC can get close... but I really did not want to have to worry about any possibility in terms of FRC and flashing the varied color pallet ...and so peace of mind with true 10-bit color. In terms of controls & ergonomics, it all worked fine for me ... I plugged the monitor in and I had the adjustments I needed (physically, moving the monitor up and down as well as menu controls). The (relatively) poor refresh rate of 60Hz is not a factor for my case (video editing, photo editing, light coding...zero gaming).

    Great for the money.

    Not IPS but for a VA panels it has great viewing angles. No UPS-C but also not common in this price range either. While not the smallest bezels but they are smaller than most in the price range as well. While mount doesn’t support rotate, almost none do at this price point. Otherwise quite adjustable. The stand however isn’t the most rock solid as if your desk has any flex it will cause the monitor to wiggle when typing the r using the mouse. Not annoying but a bit of a disappointment. 4K. HDR. Hard to find much better for the money.
