Mid-life Bette Davis
Wanted this VHS because my late husband was on the camera crew that filmed it (and I'm trying to get VHSs of every film he did) -- Also, I had a personal tour of Greystone and have two pots, a statue and some miscellaneous items the caretaker gave me from this, at the time, unoccupied mansion -- Unfortunately, I'm a Bette Davis fan but liked her earlier films, and the later films much better than this one. She seemed misplaced somehow in the film. there is nothing to dislike about this bette davis/karl malden movie if you are into the old black and white movies that get your mind moving on what is going to happen next i love film noir and all the oldies without the blood and guts and swearing and nakedness all that should be left out as you watch the story unfold these older movies are worth searching for and believe me i do search ebay every time i get a chance i have found some wonderful ones i will keep foreverthere is nothing to dislike about this bette davis/karl malden movie if you are into the old black and white movies that get your mind moving on what is going to happen next i love film noir and all the oldies without the blood and guts and swearing and nakedness all that should be left out as you watch the story unfold these older movies are worth searching for and believe me i do search ebay every time i get a chance i have found some wonderful ones i will keep forever
