It just shows that it was good enough that someone else took a lot of time with it because of it's message. I'm pleased.     "Unfinished Tales" is a fill-in-the-gaps sort of book, and Tolkien's storytelling genius still shines through in this disjointed collection of essays, bits and pieces. For those hungering for more Middle-Earth. 5.0 out of 5 stars What a fantastic book! It arrived yesterday and I haven't put it down.

    This book has more stories of hobbits and elves. Dragons and men too. The additional tales compliment Tolkien's other books very well. I recommend it to anyone who liked The Lord of the Rings.

    Unfinished tales

    I was looking online for something related to the Lord of the Rings because my husband really likes the books. I came across this book and ordered it for my husband for a birthday gift. He read the description and jumped right into reading the book and really enjoyed the book. From the description of the book, the book was somewhat related to the Lord of the Rings. I plan to read the book myself but i am not much of science fiction type of person but i did enjoy the Lord of the Rings.
