I have several headphones. All but one pair hurt my ears after about an hour. That one comfortable pair has limited sound quality, so I wanted to try to find something with a little better sound. The crossover sound is wonderful--especially for music. Mainly I watch movies on my computer and these are great for that. I read reviews on many headphones before trying these. Several reviewers suggested purchasing the XL replacement ear pads. I took their word for it and ordered them the same day I ordered the headphones. The smaller ones seemed okay when I put them on for a while, but I changed them out for the XL's anyway. They are bigger and thicker and easy to change. They cost $23. but to me , well worth it. I recommend that if you buy the headphones, wait and try the regular ear pads before buying the XL--they might be fine for you. The best recommendation I can give is to say that when my wife put these on she wanted a pair because the sound is so good. She has never worn headphones before. She does now. Yeah, I ordered her a pair right away. Now she wants them in bluetooth. I think I created a monster.Read full review

Based on images, I was expecting some wear and tear. But I did not think the material was as bad as what I got. I understand they’re used, but some more detailed, up-close pictures would have been much appreciated as I noticed more wear than what was shown in the images. Also, I’m not judging, but I was t expecting these to smell like they’ve been in a smokers house, but it is blatantly obvious they have been. They reek of cigarette smoke. This would have been a good detail to add to the description too rather than just “Very good working condition”

I read good reviews about these so i decided to try them. The overall build quality is excellent, very solid and better that other brands pro lines, they look great and are very comfy. The sound quality is great, very clear but with a bit of emphasis on the low end but not something out of control, midrange is very smooth without fatiguing peaks, the highs could use a bit of reinforcement but that can be corrected with the EQ on your device. They would make a great choice for bass heavy music styles like EDM or Hip-Hop, i wouldn't use them for production or monitoring though, as for DJing, they can work but are not very practical to have them on and off quickly.
Several DJs in my network hyped up this model when I inquired on replacing my cheapo Sony lightweight Ipod phones. Positive: Sound is amazing almost like being in a studio. Negative: Tight around the ears, tight around the neck when hanging , holds in the body heat as it cups the ears tightly, I like to have 1 ear open to hear the sound from the audience surroundings & when I flip up one side the phones slide down too much, I have to constantly adjust them. As a mobile DJ, I need my hands free to do my thing so I will be selling this unit back on Ebay or locally. I don't see the value in the suggested retail prices unless you are in a studio environment.

very nice looking headphones, sound quality is not as good as audio technicas, but not bad sounding.build quality looks good except were brackets meet the cans it is a small swivel that is made of plastic. they are great for hip hop, rap, bass music.smaller than the ath pro 700.but not as powerful or as clear.not to be downing these headphones I really like them, but are not for easy listening or rock.they are loud so if you want to blast your ears out with rap they are great
These are great sounding headphones that are lightweight and comfortable. I only wish they collapsed like the M-100 model.

They sound great and they slam hard if you're into music with big bass. However these headphones are painful to wear unless you buy the extra large ear pads.

These headphones thump but not too much that the highs and midrange are overwhelmed but the bass is definately heavy. Just what I wanted though. Very happy with my purchase.
