This game could have been great, but after playing it for a while to much frustration, it makes one wonder if it was really ready for release when it was released. The computer opponent seems to be lacking on some holes, but then pulls off some kind of Tiger Woods move on the next one. The difficulty of your opponent really seems to be picked at random, which means that even if you are learning from your own mistakes, it might not matter the next time you play the same opponent. I like the feel of the game and the controls are fine, but the AI is ridiculous.
I wanted to play a cartoon-y golf game (anything that doesn't involve real people) because I loved Mario Gold: Toadstool Tour in my youth. Because the Wii U doesn't run Gamecube games, I decided to try this game instead. This game is really hard actually with the Wiimote acting as a golf club. My stance is not that great so I decided to switch to button controls. Characters look cute, gameplay is pretty nice and relaxing. I absolutely love games where you can dress your characters up. I was surprised to golf against Dante at one point. I guess even demon hunters need a break sometimes.

Well, golf is golf. The golf is what surprised me a lot. The game is actually a lot of fun, and you can get addicted to it very fast. The Wii mote is great with it, it feels like your actually swinging. The only difference is you can use one hand if you want. Gameplay: 8.5/10 It's fun. Period. Replay Value: 10/10 Family and friends will keep you coming back to Super Swing Golf. Graphics: 6.0 Well...they're plastic dolls. But there are no slowdowns and the style is cool. Sound: 8.0 Nice music, but not something as memorable as Zelda.
Havent figured out all the features yet. But I love the other WII golf game that is why I bought this one, and I was not dissapointed.

I rented this game for a week and had a good time, so I bought it a week later on ebay. The game is an english version of a Japanese game called Pangya, so parts are slightly corny, but I have a good time with it. I like that you can choose to play with Swing Control (swinging the remote like a club) or button control (like a non WII video game) and can do so on the fly or in the middle of a round. Playing 4 or 5 rounds of golf really wears out your shoulders, but you can switch to button control at any point and keep playing. Cute story line featuring Anime style characters. Overall, fun to play, best Wii golf game I have tried thus far.
Played PangYa on PC and bought this for nostalgia. Difficult to pull off special moves if you use the Wii remote swing motion, easier with just button controls

This is a very easy to figure out golf game and my only downfall I can find is that the game has too much story telling between rounds. My 7 year old figured it out in less than five minutes, hasn't mastered it, but has figured it out. Don't pay more than $16 total with shipping, you will find it for this or less here on eBay.
I love this game! It is challenging and addicting at the same time. I like the wii sports golf game but there are way more courses and it is much more difficult. The bad thing is when you play with others you and you aren't playing with your memory card everyone has to use the same player until they win some matches against the computer. Anyhow it's great and challenging. I highly recommend it for everyone.
This is a cool game, but it was not for me...I wanted a GOLF game. This is TOO much of a fantasy golf style game. And, I did not really like the swing/hit controller method required to play it...again, I like a more traditional golf swing game. Also, I have heard that the SSG 2 is better. If you want something besides Tiger Woods Golf, then this may be your thing.
Way too much other stuff going on in this game. I like to play golf games but this had all kinds of extra "stuff" to it that was more frustrating and distracting. However, after playing it extended beyond just a golf game into just a game. You almost forget about the golf rules and starting playing with the silly extras and it's pretty addicting.
